*When She’s Not Around
(Words & Music by Keith Brown)

Well I haven’t seen her in quite awhile,
No, I haven’t seen her, I miss her style,
I find I’m losing my mind when she’s not around,
I seem to feel it every time my knees hit the ground.

Now won’t you please free her, don’t chain her soul,
I have got to see her or I will fold,
My health is starting to fail ‘cause she’s not around,
I’m simply going through hell, and I can’t hear a sound.

I thought that I could make it, looks like I just can’t fake it now,
Won’t you free that girl?
I can’t go on without her, I’m always thinkin’ ‘bout her,
Seems that she is my world.

Well I haven’t seen her in quite awhile,
No I haven’t seen her, I miss her style,
I find I’m losing my mind when she’s not around,
I seem to feel it every time my knees hit the ground.

Now you been handin’ me that jive,
And it all sounds so contrived,
'Bout how you hate to be punishin’ me
By not settin' her free.
But the day will soon arrive
That we gonna blow this dive,
And remember, the apple sure don’t fall far from the tree, no,
No it don’t, no siree...

It’s gonna come on home, it’s gonna come on home,
I’m telling you the things you do are gonna come on home.
She been movin’ slow, she been feelin’ low
It’s time to don them walkin’ shoes
And hit the road,
We in walkin’ mode…

You know I miss that girl, you know I need that girl,
You know I love that girl, you know I want that girl.
